Kingston Links - Closing Down Sale
The VSGC had their June 2018 hit out at Kingston Links before it all becomes a Residential zone full of concrete & hot mums.
The previous week got rained out & only 22 die hard golfers turned up, all the rest decided to stay in a warm home & watch the footy.
But it was back on Sunday & the usual large turn out were there to have a hit, a laugh & a feed which consisted of lot's of dead animal, which a side dish of burek, all of which was washed down with some great Mexican Beer (thank you to our sponsor's Corona). Also a big thank you to Damir Trkulja.
Back to Business; 8 groups set out to smash the course, the usual contenders were present, Sladjan Krsic, DJ Stojanovic, PJ Segadin & Dragutin Tomic, (who took time away from Pig Cooking Duties), there was also some new faces in Boris B & Srdjan Ivkov (aka Banditos). However at the end of the day, it was George Simic & Ratko Petkovic who took A grade & B grade medals with 41 (A) & 39 (B), other notable mentions were Sasha Milenkovic with 40 points & Bobby Savic with 38 points, who all collected a ball as part of the ceremony.
As always there were some side bets within the groups, Group 3 had Sladjan, Stefan & Sasha (M), playing for money, to which Sasha took the cash, however, in a chipping competition, for an NTP, Stefan Rupa decided to play his best shot of the day & collect the cash. (Stefan thank you for taking food out of childrens mouthes).
